Outward Bound Fundraiser: "Black Tie and Tennis Shoes." Guests were invited to dress formally from the waist up, and in the "roughing it" mode from the waist down, so they could use the rope bridges, zip lines, and climbing walls and ropes, yet still be stylishly attired for their gourmet dinner. Live and silent auctions, music, and dancing capped this unusual evening attended by business and civic leaders.

“Wines for Life.” This Cancer Society fundraiser gave guests the opportunity to sample vintages from many wineries, and food from many Denver restaurants. They also bid on rare and exotic wines and spirits in the live auction.

“Nordstrom Readiness Day.” Nordstrom Park Meadows staged this exhibition promoting public safety, in cooperation with local police, fire, and health care agencies. Kids got to try on firefighter gear, and squirt targets with fire extinguishers. The highlight of the day was the landing of the St. Anthony’s “Flight for Life” helicopter in the parking lot.
